As a Python Developer (Middle/Senior) at ULAM LABS, you will play a key role in creating innovative solutions by designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Python-based application (web+mobile).

Who are we?

We are ULAM LABS - a Wroclaw-based software house specializing in creating complex products for companies, focusing on MedTech and financial technologies.

Your daily missions

• Designing and implementing back-end services
• Reviewing other team members' code and providing constructive feedback
• Collaborating with other team members, including other Developers, QA Specialists, and the Project Manager
• Reporting progress, problems and results of activities at daily team meetings
• Providing assistance and support to other team members in resolving Python and project-related issues
• Maintaining regular contact with the clients, keeping them informed of progress, achievements and any delays
  
  

Your profile

• 4+ (Middle) / 5+ (Senior) years of commercial experience in Python web programming
• 2+ (Middle) / 4+ (Senior) years of experience in Django
• Great knowledge of the Git version control system
• Experience and good understanding of SQL-based databases
• Passion for using pytest
• Great communication skills
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any science field
• Fluency in English and Polish (min. B2 level)

How do we recruit?

• HR and project-tech meetings This step is divided into two parts. The online HR interview includes a company presentation and an in-depth interview with soft questions. During the technical on-site part, you can showcase all your talents by answering technical questions asked by your future supervisor. Here, you can also talk about the details of the role.

Onboarding first day

We can’t wait to spend your first week together in our office! You’ll meet your dedicated Buddy, get to know the whole team, and have a chance to connect with Head of Delivery - Michał Korzeniowski.

Your adventure starts with receiving your welcome pack - everything you need to feel ready and comfortable at work. During the week, we’ll take care of all formalities, guide you through essential trainings (tools, health & safety), and introduce you to our company culture and how we work together.

Of course, there will be plenty of time to relax and connect - enjoy coffee, tea, and lunch on us with your new teammates.

By The End Of Your First Week, You’ll

• Know your team, buddy and HoD
• Be familiar with our project and your first responsibilities
• Wrap up the week with a friendly feedback session led by Natalia Pesta, our People & Culture Manager, to share your first impressions and make sure you’re off to a great start
  
  

Onboarding one month

By this stage, you’ll have a clear understanding of your responsibilities and will be actively contributing during team meetings. You’ll also take part in regular 1:1 sessions with HoD, where you can discuss progress, ideas, and any support you might need.

After Your First Month, We’ll Expect You To

• work more independently,
• be able to resolve larger tickets by yourself,
• understand the core functionality of the project.
  
  

You’ll wrap up this stage with another feedback meeting hosted by Natalia Pesta, our People & Culture Manager, to celebrate your progress and plan the next steps in your journey with us.

Onboarding three months

Two months in, you’ll sit down with HoD for a friendly conversation about how things are going - how you’re settling in, what’s working well, and where we can support you even more. We can’t wait to hear your feedback and reflections!

By the end of your onboarding journey, you’ll be fully immersed in your project, confident in your responsibilities, and - of course - you’ll have mastered all the names of your teammates (we promise, it gets easier 😉)
