L2 Network Engineer – Cisco / Aruba / Palo Alto

Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience: 4–8 Years
Employment Type: Contract / Project-based


Job Summary


Looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer to manage enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities


  • Configure and support Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto devices
  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues
  • Handle firewall configurations and security policies
  • Perform network upgrades, patches, and optimization
  • Troubleshoot routing and switching issues (L2/L3)
  • Ensure network performance, uptime, and SLA adherence
  • Work closely with L1 and L3 teams


Requirements


Required Skills


  • Strong knowledge of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
  • Hands-on with Aruba wireless and switching solutions
  • Network monitoring tools experience
  • Good incident and change management exposure

Preferred Certifications


  • CCNA / CCNP
  • Palo Alto (PCNSE) – added advantage
  • Aruba certifications
