Lecturer (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning)

Job Description:

Your core responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and delivering curriculum, as well as supervising practical projects. You will teach AI, ML, DL, and generative AI. This includes:

• Teaching AI models to learn from data for applications like chatbots, self-driving cars, and voice recognition.
• Guiding students in building data science infrastructure, data preprocessing, and cleansing.
• Planning for deployment into production environments.
• Supervising projects involving speech recognition, data mining, and advanced robotics.
• Collaborating with experts and communicating AI utility to diverse audiences.

Job Requirements:

We seek a skilled, innovative professional passionate about AI/ML, dedicated to fostering student career growth and establishing strong industry connections.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science is highly preferred.
• Experience: At least 1-year relevant experience as an AI Specialist, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar AI development role is crucial.
• Certifications: Relevant AI/ML certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google AI Certification) are beneficial.

Key Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of programming languages such as Python, Flutter, and C++; good knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability. Extensive experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras, and various ML/deep learning algorithms. Proficiency in cloud platforms for AI deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and strong understanding of data modeling, mining, and processing.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in teams; adaptability to new AI developments; and understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and bias.
• Genuine passion to share knowledge, mentor and interact with youths and adult learners, with strong pastoral and interpersonal skills.
