DevOps Lead / Manager - London - New Role

A leading organisation requires a DevOps Manager to manage its growing DevOps function. The successful candidate will lead a (growing) team to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.

Duties are as follows:

• Developing the DevOps strategy and roadmap to enable efficient, secure, and automated delivery of applications and infrastructure.
• Managing a team of DevOps Engineers - providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure high-quality delivery of cloud solutions.
• Overseeing the implementation and integration of DevOps tools and automation frameworks to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Implementing comprehensive observability practices—including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting—to maintain visibility, performance, and reliability across all environments.
• Leading and developing a high-performing DevOps team, fostering collaboration between development, operations, and security teams.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and automation to enhance delivery speed and operational efficiency.

Suitable candidates will have the following:

• Experienc in leaidng teams and fostering collaboration across development, operations, and security functions.
• Extensive experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Strong technical proficiency in cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in monitoring and observability platforms and best practices for system health and performance.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize delivery processes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and ability to integrate security into CI/CD workflows.
• Commitment to staying current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices.
