• Preston-Based, 4 Days On-site / 1 Day WFH
• Contract Role from April to December 2026
• Daily Rate $850 – $950 (Inclusive)

The Opportunity

Our client, a major player in the retail industry, is gearing up for a high-priority Augmodo Project. To ensure the successful delivery of this critical infrastructure initiative, we are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team for an 8-month engagement.

This is a technical, hands-on role for an engineer who thrives on Innovation and Quality. Working within an ITIL-aligned environment (ServiceNow), you will take ownership of the networking landscape, driving orchestration and automation while ensuring seamless integration across a dual-vendor environment.

The Role

You will be a key contributor to the Augmodo Project, working closely with the Network Team Lead and wider infrastructure team to deliver expected outcomes. You will balance day-to-day operational support with the execution of project-related builds, capacity planning, and technical documentation.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Orchestration: Advanced proficiency in HPE Aruba Central and Juniper Mist.
• Switching: Expert-level management of HPE Aruba 6200F and Juniper EX4000 series.
• Access Points: Configuration and deployment of HPE Aruba (Series 5 & 6) and Juniper Mist AP34.
• SD-WAN: Proven experience with VeloCloud Edges (preferred) or similar SD-WAN technologies.

Desirable Skills:

• Wireless Surveys: Proficiency conducting predictive surveys in Ekahau.
• Security & Virtualisation: Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, ClearPass, or VMWare (NSX experience is a bonus).
