Product Manager, Building & Infrastructure

The preferred locations for this position are business units in Finland or other business unit locations across Europe.

The objective of this position is to take ownership of Exel’s Building & Infrastructure (B&I) composite products globally. You will be responsible for creating the Exel B&I product range sales and marketing strategies, and actively plan and support Exel product marketing activities. As part of the Engineered Solutions Business Unit Product Management team, you are offered an exciting independent Product Manager role where your contributions will directly impact the Business. You will report to the Senior Manager, Product Management, BU Engineered solutions.

• Support interactions with customers for Exel product throughout the sales cycle and customer lifecycle and perform periodic customer visits to gain additional insight.
• Provide product management perspective during customer segmentation.
• Collect and analyses customer feedback to understand needs and pain points.
• Market Analysis & Research; analyzing competitors, assessing market trends, developing product strategies, and collaborating to identify new opportunities.
• Responsible for managing product lifecycle, from development proposals and customer needs consolidation to pricing, product launches, sales training, emphasizing product performance and gross margin enhancement.

• Technical education, preferably in electrical. Business related degree also valued.
• Good technical understanding
• Min. 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Sales skills, preferably some previous experience, and industry knowledge
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Adequate understanding of project management (product development and customer projects).
• Good verbal communication and negotiation skills and capability to effective writing.
• Fluent spoken and written English, other languages beneficial.
