We are hiring: Senior PHP Software Engineer

Aemetriks is looking for an experienced Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our team in Kaunas.

In this role, you will be responsible for building modern web applications using Symfony and API Platform, while also taking an active part in technical leadership. You will mentor other software engineers, lead new projects, and contribute to important architecture decisions that shape the future of our products.

What you will do

• Build and improve web applications with Symfony and API Platform

• Mentor and support other software engineers

• Lead new technical projects from idea to implementation

• Make sound software architecture decisions

• Help simplify complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions

• Promote high development standards and automated testing practices

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams

• Strong expertise in PHP and its latest versions

• Excellent knowledge of Symfony

• Strong experience with API Platform

• Good understanding of MariaDB

• Systems thinking and strong problem-solving skills

• Passion for automated testing

• Experience in software architecture

• Ability to turn complex problems into simple and effective solutions
