About the Role

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Drive definition and alignment of technology initiatives and projects with key stakeholders and teams.
• Author functional specs and documentation.
• Create schedules and milestones for technology initiatives and projects.
• Ensure teams understand goals and manage delivery through all phases of development.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify risks in advance and drive the team towards successful resolution before the risks turn into fires.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
• Experience integrating or managing AI-driven features in large-scale online services (e.g., matchmaking, personalization, moderation).
• Understanding of ethical AI principles and bias mitigation strategies in consumer-facing applications.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps for scalable service delivery.
• Experience authoring technical documentation and functional specs for Azure-based architectures.
• Background in game development pipelines, including collaboration with design, engineering, and art teams.
• Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and how technical program management supports creative iteration and milestone delivery.
• Experience in coordinating across disciplines (engineering, design, art, QA) to deliver quality game features on schedule.

Location

Canada (Remote)

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$130,000k - 150,000k CAD annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
