Cyber Security Analyst (MDR)
London (Hybrid) | £50,000–£70,000 | Permanent
We’re partnering with a technology-led organisation supporting a varied portfolio of businesses. They’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a strong MDR focus to help detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.
What you’ll do
- Act as a hands-on MDR / SOC specialist
- Investigate and respond to security incidents end to end
- Monitor and analyse alerts across Microsoft security tooling
- Develop playbooks, dashboards, and automations
- Work closely with external MDR and incident response partners
- Act as an escalation point for security operations
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ experience in a SOC / MDR / SecOps role
- Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender
- Good understanding of AD / Azure AD and Windows logging
- Firewall experience (Palo Alto or similar)
- Calm, methodical approach to incident response
Nice to have
- Mimecast, vulnerability management, or Linux experience
- Certifications such as SC-200 or CompTIA Security+
