Cyber Security Analyst (MDR)

London (Hybrid) | £50,000–£70,000 | Permanent

We’re partnering with a technology-led organisation supporting a varied portfolio of businesses. They’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a strong MDR focus to help detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.

What you’ll do

• Act as a hands-on MDR / SOC specialist
• Investigate and respond to security incidents end to end
• Monitor and analyse alerts across Microsoft security tooling
• Develop playbooks, dashboards, and automations
• Work closely with external MDR and incident response partners
• Act as an escalation point for security operations

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience in a SOC / MDR / SecOps role
• Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender
• Good understanding of AD / Azure AD and Windows logging
• Firewall experience (Palo Alto or similar)
• Calm, methodical approach to incident response

Nice to have

• Mimecast, vulnerability management, or Linux experience
• Certifications such as SC-200 or CompTIA Security+
