This is an ideal role for someone at CCNA level (or working towards it) who wants to move beyond theory and get hands-on experience building real networks.
The business is bringing previously outsourced work in-house, meaning you’ll be involved in physical deployments, installations, and customer-site work, not just sitting behind a screen.
You’ll gain exposure to racking & stacking, wireless deployments, and network installations, with a clear pathway to develop into a fully-fledged Network Engineer through funded certifications and structured progression.

Responsibilities:
• Install and deploy network infrastructure across customer sites.
• Carry out racking & stacking of network equipment.
• Install and configure wireless access points.
• Support engineers with network rollouts and upgrades.
• Travel to customer sites across the South of the UK.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Build foundational experience across networking technologies.
• Maintain clear documentation of installations and work carried out.
Skills / Must Have:
• CCNA level knowledge (certified or working towards).
• Strong interest in networking and infrastructure.
• Willingness to work hands-on in physical environments.
• Good communication skills when working with customers onsite.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Nice to Have:
• Any experience with network installations or cabling.
• Exposure to wireless technologies.
• Previous IT support or field-based experience.
Location & Working Pattern:
• Cirencester-based role
• 3 days per week in the office or on customer sites
• Travel across London, South West, M4 Corridor, Wales and surrounding areas
