Are you our new colleague? We’re looking for a Business Analyst, Data Operations to serve as the primary interpreter between business needs and data development teams. You will ensure that data solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business value.

How you will contribute

In this role, you are the key liaison between the business and the Global Data Operations Teams. You will bridge the gap between stakeholders and developers by identifying necessary data and optimizing its presentation. You will hold operational and technical responsibility for requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring that complex business needs are translated into actionable technical specifications.

Your typical day includes

• Creating and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs.
• Capturing requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria in the product backlog.
• Discovering and trialing innovative analytical solutions and data models through prototyping.
• Directly creating initial source reports or working with third-party providers to secure required data fields.
• Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure final data products meet requirements.
• Responding to ad-hoc reporting requests via ServiceNow, Jira, or FreshService.

Your responsibilities include

• Stakeholder Alignment: Translating business requirements into prioritized technical specifications for the Global Data Operations team.
• Data Strategy: Defining precise technical specifications that can be scaled into high-impact data products.
• Source Data Acquisition: Owning the integrity of data inputs to support internal needs and custom client requirements.
• Validation & Compliance: Reviewing adherence to contractual conditions regarding reporting, financial elements, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement in an agile environment to incorporate value-added components.
• Tactical Ownership: Acting as the solution owner for all tactical and interim reporting artifacts until full development is complete.

Your background

• Experience: 4-5 years in a similar Business Analyst or Business Intelligence role.
• Education/Field: Essential background in Business Intelligence, Data Science, or Analytics.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Talent Acquisition, MSP, RPO, or People Analytics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools such as Domo, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Database Skills: Ability to write intermediate SQL scripts and knowledge of data transfer protocols.
• Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Domo is a plus.
