User Experience-designer

We are seeking a mid-level UX Designer to support the creation of impactful digital solutions in a complex, purpose-driven environment. In this position, you will contribute to designing intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences that enable data-informed decision-making and operational effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and end users, to deliver high-quality digital products.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs and business requirements into clear UX concepts, user flows, and interaction models
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and responsive designs for internal platforms and tools
• Perform user research activities such as interviews and usability testing to validate design choices
• Refine and iterate designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing results
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across product, data, and engineering
• Support the ongoing enhancement of existing systems and user journeys
• Ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility across all digital touchpoints
• Lead or support workshops and stakeholder sessions when required

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of experience in UX design
• Demonstrated expertise in responsive design and user-centered design principles
• Practical experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or Adobe XD
• Experience applying user research methods, including user interviews (2+ years) and usability testing (3+ years)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Good understanding of content design and structuring content-driven interfaces
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
• Strong proficiency in Dutch

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with design systems or tools such as Abstract
• Familiarity with data-driven design approaches and analytics-based decision-making
• Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles
