About the Role
A leading organisation is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Human Resources function. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming HR data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and operational performance.
Working closely with HR leadership and business stakeholders, you will ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and effectively used to guide workforce-related decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and organise HR-related data, including payroll, working time, and workforce metrics
- Extract and utilise data from internal systems and reporting tools
- Design, build, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting solutions
- Monitor key HR indicators, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for attention
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for HR teams and leadership
- Produce both recurring and ad hoc analyses to support business needs
- Recommend improvements to data processes, tools, and reporting frameworks
- Respond to specific analytical requests related to workforce and organisational topics
Candidate Profile
- Degree in data analytics, business intelligence, statistics, or a related field
- Initial professional experience in a data analysis role
- Strong proficiency with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
- Ability to structure, validate, and interpret data accurately
- Analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively
- Proactive approach, with a focus on adding value beyond standard reporting
- Experience working with HR data or HR information systems is an advantage
