Our Client is Seeking a Product / Application Engineer – Renewable Energy (Baltic)


Our client is a Europe-headquartered renewables start-up that strives to excel in advanced technologies, tailored solutions, and eco-friendly practices, leading the global shift towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy landscape.


They are committed to delivering a wide range of renewable energy products and services; including solar power systems, inverters, energy storage solutions, EV charging systems, and related components to international markets.


Your Mission

As a Product / Application Engineer, you will act as a Product Owner in the regional market, managing the product lifecycle from planning, launch, promotion, marketing, and sales to deployment and full customer experience.

  • Understand the technical aspects of our client’s products.
  • Act as a bridge between the regional market (or local customers) and their central product/support teams.
  • Be hands-on with customer needs and technical issues, not focused on roadmap or feature prioritization.
  • Serve as an expert in solar inverter technologies (microinverter, string inverter, hybrid inverter, etc.), understanding market needs, competition, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, R&D, Engineering, and Production teams to prioritize product features, maintain product roadmaps, and ensure product releases meet customer and project timelines.
  • Support the sales team during customer meetings, prepare technical documentation and presentations, participate in pilot and RFP projects, and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training for sales teams, distributors, and installers on product details, system applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Contribute to product strategy, go-to-market tactics, and commercial proposals, aligning internal resources across departments.
  • Implement internal processes related to R&D, Sales, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in hardware or software product development, product management, technical sales, or system integration related to solar inverters (micro, string, hybrid) or battery energy storage systems.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of photovoltaic system integration, including both electrical and mechanical design aspects of inverters.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset, with a focus on success and satisfaction.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills for developing technical proposals, customer presentations, and use-case documentation.
  • Fluency in English and Latvian is required.


This role is not a classic "Product Management Manager" position that typically handles product strategy, market positioning, or roadmap ownership.
