SAP Project Manager

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT and ERP transformation programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, structured project execution, and hands-on experience managing SAP migrations—particularly from ECC to S/4HANA.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex SAP/IT projects, including scope, timeline, cost, quality, and risk
• Plan, execute, and monitor project activities using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals and milestones
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports
• Identify risks, issues, and process gaps; propose and implement solutions proactively
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely delivery
• Manage project documentation including reports, dashboards, process maps, and deliverables
• Ensure all project artifacts are version-controlled, organized, and accessible
• Capture and maintain key documentation (meeting minutes, status updates, communications)
• Define project scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Partner with application leaders to manage budgets and ensure financial alignment
• Take a proactive approach to anticipate challenges and drive timely resolution

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of experience managing large-scale IT or SAP programs/projects
• Proven experience in ERP migrations or consolidations, preferably SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration experience
• Exceptional communication (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Experience in budget management and negotiation
• Leadership and decision-making
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) preferred
