Network Engineer

We would like to meet a Network Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model based in Lisbon (2x/week).

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of network segmentation technologies on traditional firewalls rules implementation (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience in coding security rules in Firewall (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience in an IT production environment (management of requests, incidents, changes, documentation, etc.).
• Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures with a focus on quality, productivity, and security (Run).
• Conduct diagnostics to identify the causes of malfunctions and flow blockages.
• Implement and maintain security policies on security equipment.
• Propose solutions to improve security policies.
• Define and implement best practices for managing security policies.
• Provide expertise in his/her field while offering advice, assistance, information, training, and alerts regarding network security.
• Interface with experts from other domains. Verify compliance with standards (IT security, quality, etc.).
• Ensure the appropriate level of service quality in line with the requirements of service contracts (SLAs) within his/her area of responsibility.
