About Us

At Tightly, we’re building a platform that helps e-commerce and D2C brands manage and optimise their most valuable asset—capital. Our AI-driven platform helps businesses optimise inventory replenishment, streamline supplier communications, and unlock flexible revenue-based financing. We’re not just solving a problem; we’re creating a new category of software that helps businesses optimise their capital for sustainable growth.

What We’re Building

Tightly integrates deeply with the systems that power modern commerce—ERPs like NetSuite and SAP, e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, warehouse management systems, and more. These integrations are the connective tissue of our platform, enabling real-time data flow that powers our inventory intelligence, demand forecasting, and replenishment engine.

Your Role

As a Backend Engineer on the Integrations team in Türkiye, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the custom integrations that connect Tightly to our customers’ tech stacks. You’ll work with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), WMS providers, and other third-party services. Beyond integrations, you’ll support the broader backend team on platform features, performance improvements, and infrastructure work. You’ll collaborate closely with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations with ERPs (NetSuite, SAP), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento), and WMS/3PL systems
  • Build and optimise data pipelines that synchronise inventory, orders, and financial data across multiple systems in real time
  • Develop robust API connectors with proper error handling, retry logic, and monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working directly with partner APIs and documentation
  • Contribute to the core backend platform—building features, improving performance, and writing clean, testable code
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope integration requirements and technical approaches
  • Write comprehensive tests and maintain documentation for all integration modules
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in backend software development
  • Strong proficiency in Python with solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and test-driven development
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining API integrations with third-party systems (ERPs, e-commerce platforms, or SaaS products)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and common integration patterns
  • Ability to read and work with third-party API documentation independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating with NetSuite (SuiteTalk/REST), SAP, Shopify, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud providers, particularly AWS (Lambda, SQS, S3, RDS)
  • Experience with message queues, event-driven architectures, or ETL pipelines
  • Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and normalisation across disparate systems
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Sentry)

Mindset

  • A creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership—you care about getting integrations right
  • Collaborative and proactive, comfortable working across teams and time zones
  • Curious about e-commerce operations and eager to understand how businesses use the systems you integrate with
  • Passionate about clean code, reliability, and continuous improvement
