AI Researcher

This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end implementation of AI tools within the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Art, Game Design, and Operations—to resolve AI-related challenges and drive effective adoption.

You will also support the integration of AI features into games to enhance overall player experience.

What You'll Do:

1. Prompt Design and Optimisation

• Develop high-quality and effective prompt templates tailored to various game development needs.
• Continuously refine and optimise prompts based on actual output performance to ensure relevance, accuracy, and usability.

2. Local AI Workflow Deployment and Optimisation

• Independently set up and deploy localised AI workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing development pipelines.
• Improve accessibility and usability of AI tools across teams.
• Monitor implementation outcomes, gather user feedback, and iteratively enhance workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve practical issues encountered during usage.

3. AI Integration into Game Content

• Support the implementation of AI-driven features within games, such as digital characters and AI assistants.
• Enhance player engagement and experience through effective AI integration.

What We're Looking For:

• Familiarity with a range of mainstream generative AI tools (e.g. image, text, and code generation tools).
• Experience in local model deployment and debugging will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, with the ability to design and optimise prompts for specific use cases; practical project experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of workflow design, with the ability to independently deploy, debug, and troubleshoot local AI workflows.
• Prior exposure to game development processes is a plus. Candidates with a strong interest in AI and willingness to grow within the gaming industry are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills in English, with working proficiency in Mandarin preferred to facilitate collaboration with team members and stakeholders from China.
