Network Engineer

Hiring – L1 IT Support / Network Engineer (DSS)

We are hiring an L1 Data Centre Engineer / Network for a full-time position in Vienna, Austria.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Handle day-to-day data centre operations
* Provide physical support including:
* Mounting and unmounting devices
* Cabling and connectivity
* Unpacking and handling deliveries
* Disposal of old devices
* Manage backup tapes and ensure secure offsite storage
* Assist vendors during onsite activities
* Basic troubleshooting of servers, storage, and network devices
* Work on DSS (Dispatch Support Services) day to day and ensure timely onsite support as per SLA
* Coordinate with remote teams and update day to day systems

*Requirements:*
* Experience in data centre operations (L1/L2 level)
* Basic knowledge of servers, storage, and networking equipment
* Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure tasks
* Experience in handling DSS / field support tickets is a plus
* Language proficiency: B2 – C1 (English/German preferred)
