Role: Technical Lead - Data Centre Installation

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 24 Months

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Overview:

Technical Lead required to support onsite installation and technical coordination on a mission‑critical data centre project. The role is focused on construction, installation support, and EPC interface management. Hands‑on site experience is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret IFC / IFD / IFR drawings and MEP documentation
• Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil interfaces
• Resolve site technical issues, RFIs, and clashes
• Review as‑built documentation and installation quality
• Support commissioning readiness and handover activities

Requirements:

• Proven data centre installation experience
• Strong background in EPC mechanical, piping, or MEP installation
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical lead or project engineering role
• Experience with mission‑critical MEP systems (cooling, piping, fire protection)
• Ability to read and resolve issues from technical drawings
• Experience with CAD or BIM tools
• Fluent in English
