What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Growth Marketing Manager within our Plugsurfing division. This position falls under our International Vehicle Payments / EV Charging Solutions line of business and is located in Espo

In this role, you will own the full driver lifecycle from first touchpoint through regular charging and long-term retention, designing and scaling activation programs across B2B2C and B2C channels while owning the website, martech stack, and GEO technical layer that ensures Plugsurfing is discoverable in an AI‑mediated world.

You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and regularly collaborate with B2B Marketing, Content, Brand & Design, Product, Partner, and International Marketing teams across Corpay.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

B2B2C & B2C Activation (Core Mission)

  • Owning the activation gap for drivers onboarding through white‑label partners who never complete their first charging session
  • Designing and running partner‑specific activation programs tailored to unique onboarding flows, driver profiles, and communication triggers
  • Defining the critical activation window and building Customer.io journeys that move new drivers to first charge
  • Owning B2C retention strategy including segmentation, churn signal identification, and re‑engagement programs
  • Managing the annual B2C driver NPS programme and translating insights into concrete action

Website Ownership

  • Owning plugsurfing.com as a growth asset including strategy, structure, performance, and copy briefs
  • Executing SEO and ASO strategy across web and app platforms
  • Optimising conversion through analytics and real user behaviour analysis
  • Managing paid acquisition efforts (search, LinkedIn, and app install campaigns) in service of activation goals

GEO / AI Discoverability Layer

  • Implementing schema markup across the website structured for AI retrieval
  • Ensuring entity consistency across website, press, LinkedIn, app stores, Wikidata, and Google Knowledge Graph
  • Maintaining Wikipedia and Wikidata presence and accuracy
  • Producing AI‑readable documentation including API pages, partner integration guides, and OCPI content
  • Conducting quarterly AI citation audits (ChatGPT, Perplexity) and tracking results as a ranking report
  • Owning the data layer, publishing infrastructure, and distribution of the European Charging Index

Analytics, Martech & First‑Party Data

  • Owning Mixpanel for acquisition, activation, and retention analytics
  • Owning Customer.io end‑to‑end including flows, segmentation, integrations, and optimisation
  • Governing UTM and campaign tracking across all acquisition channels
  • Defining first‑party data strategy including consent architecture and owned audience development
  • Managing the marketing technology stack and vendor relationships
  • Ensuring GDPR compliance across marketing and data systems

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle marketing, or hybrid growth/operations roles
  • Proven experience in B2B2C or mobile‑first platform environments
  • Deep expertise in activation and retention programs from registration to sustained engagement
  • Hands‑on experience building journeys in Customer.io or equivalent lifecycle platforms
  • Strong analytical capability, including defining KPIs before execution and acting on funnel insights
  • Experience owning a website as a growth asset (SEO, conversion optimisation, content briefing)
  • Familiarity with mobile growth and App Store Optimisation (ASO)
  • Working knowledge of GEO, structured data, or AI discoverability (or strong learning velocity)
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and marketing data governance
  • Experience using AI‑powered marketing tools or strong appetite to build with AI‑driven workflows
