Android Developer (Kotlin) - Hybrid Lisbon (1 day/week office)

The project

A German tech company with 30 years of experience building digital ticketing and mobility platforms, now growing their Lisbon engineering team. Part of the INIT Group, their apps and systems are used daily by millions of public transport passengers across Germany and globally. Stable product company, international team, real-world impact.

Stack: Kotlin, Android (MVVM, MVP, Room, Data Binding, Custom Views), REST APIs, SQL, Jira/Confluence

Location: Lisbon, 1 day per week in the office

Compensation: €2,800 – €4,200/month gross, depending on experience and seniority level.

What they need

• 4+ years of Android/Kotlin development, production-grade
• Solid grasp of Android application lifecycle and system interaction
• Experience with MVP, MVVM, Room, Data Binding, Custom Views
• Multithreading concepts in Android
• REST API + basic SQL
• English B2+
• Based in Portugal, available 1 day/week in Lisbon office
• Immediate or near-immediate availability preferred

Nice to have: Single activity architecture, CI/CD, Clean Architecture, Figma, Firebase/Google Analytics
