System Verification Engineer

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a System Verification Engineer, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

As System Verification Engineer, you will perform full End-to-End system verification on both rigs and vehicles for our services.

You will verify the functionality of the service through the whole flow. This includes both use cases offboard for the fleet manager, as well as the ones for the truck driver using onboard apps and mobile phone apps. The Verification engineer’s main tasks are to develop test methods, develop simulations, perform integration work, and verify the services at a system level.

You will work in close collaboration with our different functions in a flexible environment where it is important to understand the customer needs. Your input will therefore be essential to know if the services will meet the customer’s expectations.

Knowledge/Experience

• 10 years’ experience from verification of distributed embedded systems in the Services, Entertainment, and/or Telematics area.
• Confident with manual End-to-End verification spanning over mobile apps, offboard systems and onboard functionality, on both rigs and vehicles.
• Show authentic interest in simulation and be able to take lead to proactively seek ways to expand it, aiming to reduce our reliance on physical test objects going forward.
• Knowledge of test frameworks and tool chains, e.g., Vector CAN tools. Competence in Linux, Android, simulation and test automation. Truck driver license is a merit.
• Problem solving skills, including root cause analysis and log analysis.
• System thinking and quality mindset are key for this role.
• Strong team player, self-driven and with excellent communication skills.
