Function

  • Reporting to the Project Manager Onshore.
  • The Line PM shall have the overall responsibility for the roll-out of specific sections or lines, including planning, installation, testing, commissioning, hand-over to operations and up until final acceptance by Customer.
  • Contribute to setting up the processes and interfaces needed for performing the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Manage the installation partners (subcontractors) including contractual issues, claims, planning support.
  • Manage the day-to-day customer interface for the specific line/section, including reporting to the customer.
  • Manage Company’s site activities, including leading the site management team from Company.
  • Requesting and leading the necessary resources or tasks from the onshore and offshore organisations.
  • Requesting and ordering required equipment for installation in time. Holding close dialogue with the logistics manager to secure timely delivery to sites.
  • Define and follow up, together with the EHS manager, the EHS requirements towards the installation partners.
  • Coordinate technical deliverables together with project manager (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project’s requirements (product &process) within allocated budget and schedule.
  • Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to delivery items (product & process).
  • Provide status update related to technical delivery (SCM) to Project Management.
  • Timely escalate issues that impact project schedule and propose workarounds/resolutions.
  • Prepare and execute the formal handover to the service organization.
  • Oversees the completion of the line.
  • Line specific budget responsibility.
  • The Line PM has a Deputy Line PM and they are both in charge. They can divide the workload as suitable for them.

Requirements

Experience within railway infrastructure, including signalling systems, ERTMS, CBTC, and deployment of trackside equipment, would be considered an advantage.
