Job Description:

We are hiring a Product Manager for Emergency Response Systems (ERS) to lead the full product lifecycle of a critical, globally distributed product line. This is a high-impact role where your strategic decisions directly influence the development and commercialization of life-safety technology used by emergency responders worldwide. You'll sit at the crossroads of engineering, regulatory compliance, and global sales, driving innovation that meets unmet customer needs and fuels meaningful business growth.


What You Will Do:

  • Lead the full product development process from discovery and justification through specification, launch, and global commercialization, ensuring alignment with international product standards.
  • Drive strategic planning across the product portfolio, including market trend analysis, competitive assessments, orders and margin forecasting, and gap analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and sales teams to ensure product compliance and coordinate commercialization activities including pricing, value proposition, and distribution strategy.
  • Champion Voice of the Customer initiatives, including use-ability studies, customer preference testing, and final confirmation testing to ensure products are truly best-in-class.
  • Serve as the resident subject matter expert, providing sales support, participating in customer visits, and building relationships with industry thought leaders and global vehicle safety organizations.
  • Own global product test standard compliance and certification documentation, while continuously driving product quality improvements and corrective actions where needed.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business (Engineering strongly preferred) with at least 3 years of product management, engineering, or marketing experience delivering exceptional business results.
  • Proven experience conducting Voice of the Customer and Customer Preference Testing programs.
  • Solid working knowledge of FDA and ISO process controls and requirements.
