Role Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end FLEXCUBE (or any other core-banking application) projects including implementation, migration, upgrade, rollouts, and post-go-live support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and resource plans.
• Establish and manage project governance, reporting structures, and escalation mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using industry-standard methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Act as the point of contact for business users, IT teams, Oracle/FLEXCUBE vendors, and system integrators.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and design discussions with business and technical teams.
• Manage vendor contracts, deliverables, and performance to ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and steering committees.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Oversee testing phases including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Manage change requests, scope changes, and impact assessments.
• Plan and coordinate cutover, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and handover to support teams.
• Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and training for business and IT users.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the CIO or CEO

skills/Knowledge Required:

• Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex banking IT projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, etc)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills across cross-functional teams.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with banks, financial institutions, or system integrators is required.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Team player
• Can do attitude and willingness to lead from the front

This is a 12 Month FTC position paying up to £85,000 based on experience
