Junior Software Engineer

Salary: 85,000 plus package

Location: Perth, hybrid working model

Start date: ASAP

I am working with a software development company who are looking to onboard a Junior Software Engineer to their Perth office. This is a hands-on coding role where you will work alongside an industry leading Software Engineering function.

You will work across full stack development, being involved in real decisions, seeing the direct impact of what you are building! The team are utilising modern technologies and you can have an impact on what the team rolls out from day one.

A little bit about you:

-Australian citizen or hold a permanent residency

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field

-Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, SQL, Git

-Interest in modern technologies and cloud applications

-Good written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-You are a problem solver and like to be challenged

-Keen to gain exposure to data pipelines, analytics, and reporting systems

-Experience building APIs

-You are eager to learn and engage with other departments to improve solutions

-Want to contribute to scalable deployments and solutions

-Onboard with delivering features to product road map timelines

Desirable skills (not essential):

-React and Node JS

-REST APIs

-AWS, Azure

-Windows Native App development

-Linux
