We’re looking for a Graduate Mobile Developer who has recently completed their degree and is ready to launch their career in software engineering. Based at our Melbourne Head Office, this role offers hands‑on experience building real mobile applications used by real customers, alongside experienced engineers who are invested in your development.

As a Graduate Mobile Developer, you’ll be part of Orikan’s engineering team, working across native mobile development and cross‑platform applications using .NET MAUI.
This role is designed for early‑career developers who want exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from feature design and development through to testing, optimisation and release — all while continuing to learn and grow.
You won’t be expected to know everything on day one. What matters most is your curiosity, willingness to learn, and passion for mobile technology.

💻 What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in the design, development and testing of mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Work closely with senior engineers, designers and product managers
- Learn best practices for mobile architecture, clean code and UI/UX
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs to improve performance and user experience
- Contribute to technical documentation and team knowledge sharing
- Continuously build skills in C#, .NET MAUI and native mobile frameworks
🎓 About You
Essentials
- Completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Academic or personal project experience in mobile application development
- Strong foundation in C# and Object‑Oriented Programming
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- This opportunity is open to graduates with Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
- Exposure to .NET MAUI
- Familiarity with Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
- Awareness of mobile app deployment to app stores
- Early Careers focus with mentoring, guidance and real responsibility
- Hands‑on experience working on production systems
- Supportive, collaborative engineering culture
- Exposure to modern tools, technologies and enterprise‑scale solutions
- Based at Orikan’s Melbourne Head Office, with flexible working options
