Data Engineer / Web Developer (Lisbon or Porto)

Activities:

• Design and implement global data tools and UIs to support business needs.
• Develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs to feed the Data Lake and downstream applications.
• Create and maintain data models that support reporting and analytics.
• Build interactive dashboards in Power BI to turn processed data into actionable insights.
• Implement RESTful APIs using Flask to expose processed datasets.
• Build responsive front-end components with Vue.js, integrating them with Flask APIs.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into data requests and UI specifications.
• Continuously improve performance, reliability, and maintainability through code reviews and refactoring.
• Automate processes end-to-end to increase operational efficiency.

Requisitions:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience with Python and ETL processes.
• Web Development: Proven experience in building and designing Web Applications.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data processing, data visualization, and database management principles.
• Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, Flask, Vue.js, and Power BI.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical data requests.
• Language: English (Fluent)
