Company Description
WeConsulting empowers businesses with customized solutions in governance, risk management, and compliance, among other areas. Leveraging a team with diverse expertise, WeConsulting supports organizations in building resilience, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving long-term success. With a strong dedication to excellence, WeConsulting consistently aims to deliver exceptional value and exceed client expectations.
Role Description
This is not a conventional hire. We are looking for a seasoned GRC professional who is ready to step into a principal role, owning client relationships, driving business development, and shaping the strategic direction of our practice. The Partner will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to clients, developing tailored solutions in governance, risk management, and compliance, and supporting client organizations to maximize opportunities and address challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-impact GRC engagements across governance, enterprise risk management, internal audit, compliance, and beyond.
- Own and grow a portfolio of client relationships across Qatar and the broader GCC, serving government entities, financial institutions, and corporates.
- Drive business development, identifying opportunities, leading proposals, and closing mandates independently.
- Represent WeConsulting externally as a thought leader and trusted advisor in the GRC space.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop junior consultants, building a high-performance team culture.
- Collaborate with the founding leadership on firm strategy, service expansion, and market positioning.
- Ensure all engagements are delivered to the highest professional standards, on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 -15 years of progressive experience in GRC, risk advisory, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated track record in Qatar and the GCC market, deep understanding of regional regulatory environments, client culture, and business dynamics.
- Strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience with a Big Four firm or a leading management consultancy is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships at C-suite and board level.
- Strong command of GRC frameworks — COSO, ISO 31000, COBIT, IIA Standards, and relevant GCC regulatory requirements (QCB, QFMA, QFCRA, SAMA, etc.).
- Professional certifications highly valued: CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills; bilingual proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Qatar or GCC residency preferred; must be eligible to work in Qatar.
A Note on Culture
WeConsulting operates as a high-trust, principal-led firm. We value judgment over hierarchy, client outcomes over internal politics, and long-term relationships over transactional work. The right candidate will thrive in an environment that rewards entrepreneurial thinking and holds quality as non-negotiable.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation structure with performance-linked incentives and equity participation.
- Direct influence over the firm's strategic direction and growth trajectory.
- A lean, expert team with minimal bureaucracy and maximum client-facing impact.
- Access to an established and growing client base in the Qatari and GCC markets.
- The platform and backing to build something significant.
