Ovum is redefining how women navigate their health — with a focus on self-advocacy and closing the gender health gap.

Built by a female doctor with lived experience, Ovum combines AI, clinical insight, and beautifully designed user experiences to help women better understand their bodies, communicate more effectively in healthcare settings, and make more informed decisions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer & Strategist to work directly with the Founder and help shape both the product and the company.

This is not a traditional design role, you’ll operate across:

• Product strategy
• Product management
• UX/UI design
• Customer insight
• Growth & engagement

You’ll help define what we build, why it matters, and how it empowers women.

What You’ll Do

• Shape product vision and roadmap alongside the Founder
• Design end-to-end experiences (research → wireframes → UI)
• Translate user insight and data into clear product decisions
• Work with our engineers to manage sprints and ensure timely deliverables
• Drive engagement, activation, and retention
• Continuously test, learn, and iterate
• Working directly with the Founder and collaborating closely with the development and marketing team"
• Quality assurance, testing, and performance management
• Define health scenarios, conversational flows, and behavioural guardrails for the Ovum AI model

What We’re Looking For

3–7 years in product design, product strategy, or similar

Experience in startups or high-growth environments

Strong product thinking — you go beyond design into why

• Ability to operate across 0→1 and scaling phases
• A portfolio showing both UX depth and visual execution

Bonus: experience in healthtech, AI products, or behavioural design
