The Opportunity:

This is the kind of AI role that appeals to builders. Not because it’s greenfield in the usual sense, but because the business has already proven the value of AI in production and now needs someone who can help scale what comes next.

A live internal use case has already materially reduced manual effort in a core workflow, and that success has created buy-in, budget, and a genuine pipeline of new problems to solve.

The environment is still early enough that you can shape it, but mature enough that you’re not starting from a blank page. You’d report into the Head of Technology, work alongside an existing internal resource already building agents, and help turn a growing AI roadmap into production-grade systems the business will actually use.

The Role:

• This is not a classic ML Engineer mandate! We’re looking for a builder. Someone who can take a real business problem, apply AI in a commercially useful way, and deploy something people will actually use.
• That could be an Azure full-stack engineer who has moved into AI agents and AI-enabled systems. It could be a Power Platform developer who has evolved into AI, automation, and intelligent workflow delivery.
• This is a hands-on senior IC role, reporting into the Head of Technology and working closely with the business to turn real workflows into production-grade solutions across the Microsoft stack.
• The focus now is on building out the next wave of use cases from an already-proven starting point. Think agentic workflows, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, reporting, data layers, and AI-enabled process improvement that can stand up in a governed professional services environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, build and deploy AI agents and intelligent workflows across priority business use cases
• Build in Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse and the broader Power Platform
• Develop data pipelines, semantic models and reporting layers to support AI outputs and analytics
• Integrate AI solutions into core systems through secure APIs and Azure services
• Help scale successful internal use cases into repeatable, governed production capability
• Work closely with business stakeholders to map workflows and identify automation opportunities
• Ensure solutions meet privacy, governance and auditability requirements in a professional services environment
• Support the broader uplift of AI capability as adoption grows across the business

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience building production AI agents, intelligent workflows, or applied AI solutions in a commercial environment
• Strong capability across the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and Azure AI services
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, knowledge retrieval, and AI integration into business systems
• Strong API and systems integration capability, ideally with some Python, JavaScript, or related scripting experience
• A solid grounding in data modelling, reporting, and analytics, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric or other modern data platforms viewed favourably
• Able to work end-to-end, from workflow discovery and design through to build and deployment
• Comfortable operating as a senior IC with a high level of autonomy
• Strong communication skills and able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in professional services, financial services, or similarly detail-heavy advisory environments would be highly relevant
