Business Intelligence Analyst

Your new role
You will provide detailed technical and operational support and advice in relation to complex business problems. You will collaborate with key business areas to develop and deliver consumable reports and analytics that identify key risks, monitor performance, and highlight emerging trends.
The role may also support strategic planning, program and project management activities, and contribute to policy development aligned with organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Undertaking data analytics and reporting, including interpreting data and analysing results using standard statistical techniques.
- Extracting, analysing, and presenting data using Microsoft Excel, including comparison charts and visual outputs.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies that optimise data quality and statistical efficiency.
- Preparing and presenting business intelligence reports to a variety of stakeholders.
- Coordinating branch reporting requirements to monitor progress and track improvement outcomes.
- Undertaking quality assurance activities, including sample audit programs, quality trend analysis, and outcomes analysis.
- Implementing and managing processes and management systems to track branch and partner performance against agreed outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence within a complex operational environment.
- Strong capability in working with large datasets and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data extraction, manipulation, and visual reporting.
- Experience or knowledge of quality assurance, audit processes, and performance monitoring frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting insights to a range of audiences.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to both strategic and operational initiatives.
