Project Manager

Hello Network,

We are seeking a Electrical Project Manager for a BESS project to lead the end-to-end delivery of utility-scale energy storage projects in the west of Finland. The role is responsible for managing all electrical aspects of projects from early design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of utility-scale BESS projects from design through to commissioning and handover
• Manage all electrical scope including MV/HV systems, substations, and grid connection infrastructure
• Coordinate integration of BESS components (inverters/PCS, transformers, switchgear, protection and control systems)
• Manage grid connection process with TSOs/DSOs, including compliance with grid codes and technical requirements
• Oversee electrical engineering design reviews and approve contractor/OEM documentation
• Manage site electrical installation, testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities
• Ensure safe energisation and successful grid connection of assets
• Coordinate EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and utility stakeholders

Your profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in BESS, renewable energy, or power infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of MV/HV electrical systems and grid connection processes
• Experience with EPC project delivery and site execution
• Understanding of protection systems, SCADA, and power system integration
• Familiarity with grid codes and utility compliance requirements
• Experience in commissioning and energisation of electrical assets
• Fluent English
