Cloud Engineer (Azure)

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer (Azure) (m/f) to join our client in Luxembourg.

Location: Luxembourg

Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 1-3 months.

Contract: CDI (open for permanent employees and/or freelancers)

Language requirement: Fluent English.

Salary: To be discussed.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years' professional experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, covering core areas such as networking, storage, identity, and data services.
• Practical experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), working with Azure DevOps, and managing orchestration processes.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and relevant automation tools.
• Good understanding of identity and access management, cloud security principles, high availability and disaster recovery, and cost control in cloud environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams while ensuring robust security standards across systems

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Azure infrastructure solutions by translating architectural designs into scalable and automated implementations.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Bicep and ARM templates
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including release workflows, approvals, and configuration management.
• Manage and configure identity and access services within Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity and application authentication.
• Deploy and support a broad range of Azure services across compute, application, integration, and data layers.
• Implement and enforce governance and compliance standards, including policies, tagging strategies, and landing zones.
• Configure and secure networking components to ensure reliable connectivity and strong access control across environments.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure, including performance tracking, troubleshooting, and cost and security improvements.
• Document activities, manage tasks, and track incidents using tools such as Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
