Your future contribution

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer in Vilnius or Kaunas, where you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced software engineer to be a part of one of our Consumer Product teams. Our diverse and modern tech stack includes Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Aerospike, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. How you’ll add value

• Drive the implementation of technical initiatives to improve the quality of our product
• Partner with Product to impact the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team as well as other engineering teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of features
• Work closely with architects to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of our Marketplace products
• Take ownership of engineering decisions for larger topics and features
• Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process
  
  

You’ll be successful in this role if you

• Have 5+ years of professional experience in backend development (ideally with PHP/Symfony)
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Are fluent in English
