We are working with a fast-growing telecom provider that is redefining connectivity across the US. They are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer to support their expanding infrastructure, working across fiber and wireless networks in a highly dynamic environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both field work and technical troubleshooting, with real exposure to carrier-grade networks.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for network issues and escalations
- Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, and connectivity problems
- Install and configure routers, switches, and wireless equipment
- Deploy and maintain microwave and wireless backhaul systems
- Perform fiber and copper cabling, testing, and installations
- Monitor network performance and respond to outages
- Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure
- Travel to network sites for installations and maintenance
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Strong troubleshooting across routing and switching environments
- Experience with Cisco and/or Ubiquiti technologies
- Hands-on experience with wireless/microwave systems (Cambium, airFiber, Siklu)
- Ability to work in field environments and at heights
