Senior .NET Developer

VALE Partners have been engaged by a rapidly growing Australian technology scale-up to find a Full Stack .NET Developer for their Brisbane engineering team. The company has established strong product-market fit, their software is used by world leaders to produce their best work. You'll be joining a cross-functional feature team alongside product owners, QA engineers, and designers, contributing to a product that's best in class and deeply matters to the people using it.

Role Overview

• Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack, working in React/TypeScript on the frontend and .NET Core on the backend within a microservices architecture on Azure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing as part of a team that treats software quality as a first-class concern.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions and ongoing codebase improvement in line with engineering best practices.
• Release and monitor production software on a regular cadence, taking ownership of what you ship from development through to live.

What You'll Ideally Have

• Experience working in a full stack capacity and comfortable moving between frontend and backend without losing momentum.
• Familiarity with state management libraries, distributed system design and event driven architecture.
• A track record of writing well-tested code (both frontend and backend), contributing to CI/CD in cloud environments and helping to balance delivery velocity against maintainability.
• A collaborative approach to working and strong opinions about software engineering that you're interested in challenging and changing.
