Azure Engineer (Mid-Level) – Contract

Location: Poland (Remote)

Contract Length: 7 months

We’re working with a global organisation on a cloud transformation project, looking to bring in a mid-level Azure Engineer with strong automation and DevOps exposure.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, automating, and improving cloud environments in Azure, while working with modern tooling and international teams.

The Role

You’ll be involved in:

• Building and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines
• Supporting infrastructure as code deployments (Terraform)
• Writing and improving automation scripts (Python / PowerShell)
• Working with APIs and integrations across Azure services
• Contributing to cloud governance and policy implementation
• Collaborating with engineers across DevOps and cloud teams

What We’re Looking For

Must-have experience:

• Hands-on experience with Azure (commercial projects)
• Exposure to Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Experience with Terraform (or other IaC tools)
• Scripting with Python and/or PowerShell
• Understanding of Git/version control
• Experience working with REST APIs

Nice to have (not essential):

• Azure Functions / Azure Automation
• Messaging/Event services (Event Hub, Event Grid)
• CosmosDB or other Azure data services
• Azure Monitor / logging tools
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Windows Server / Active Directory knowledge

Ideal Profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in cloud / DevOps engineering
• Comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
• Someone looking to build on their DevOps and automation skills
• Strong communicator, able to work in distributed teams
