About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and project management? Customers Generation & Transmission (G&T) division is seeking an experienced Project Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities for impactful energy projects. In this role, you will manage supplier relationships, optimize costs, and contribute to high-quality project execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Procurement Activities: Develop and execute purchasing strategies tailored to project requirements, including sourcing, cost evaluation, and contract negotiations.


  • Supplier Management: Ensure supplier qualifications, compliance, and performance to maintain the highest standards for project execution.


  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across disciplines to align procurement plans with overall project goals and timelines.


  • Mentor Team Members: Support and guide Senior Purchasers and Purchasers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.


  • Process Excellence: Maintain strict adherence to customers corporate policies, ethical standards, and management procedures.


  • Operational Involvement: Oversee documentation, follow-up on invoicing and payments, and drive efficiency in supplier interactions.


What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 7 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain; project purchasing experience is a significant advantage.


Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.


Skills: Proficient in SAP; knowledge of BI & Ariba is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful international deals.


Industry Experience: Background in sectors such as oil, gas, offshore, maritime, or construction.


Languages: Fluent in English; Norwegian or French is an advantage.


Personal Attributes: A proactive, organized, and results-driven professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
