Security Risk Officer Technician

We would like to meet a Security Risk Officer Technician for a hybrid project based in Porto (2x/week).

Responsibilites:

• Define and document standard operating procedures for Level 1 permanent controls, ensuring alignment with organizational IT risk policies and frameworks.
• Deploy and enhance Level 1 permanent controls to support effective IT risk management, including areas such as IT Asset Management (ITAM) and vulnerability management.
• Validate and monitor the execution of Level 1 permanent controls, ensuring consistency, reliability, and compliance with internal standards.
• Ensure continuous improvement of Level 1 controls by identifying gaps, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions and risk remediation plans.
• Contribute to the identification, assessment, and reporting of IT and cyber risks, supporting the development and follow-up of action plans.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards on Level 1 controls compliance and IT risk exposure (e.g., using Power BI and Excel).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide clear visibility on control effectiveness, risk status, and remediation progress.
• Support the monitoring of IT asset lifecycle (including obsolescence) and vulnerabilities, ensuring alignment with security and risk management practices.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to support the implementation of IT risk policies, standards, and tools (e.g., code scanning and security controls).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in technology risk management within the banking or financial services industry (+ 1 year).
• Strong understanding of technology risk assessment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology risk management.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel.
• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL framework is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO27001, ISO27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are a plus.
• Project management skills is a plus.
• Good level of English (minimum B2).
