About the role

As Gate.TR scales and the Turkish crypto regulatory landscape matures, robust risk control is no longer optional — it is foundational. We are looking for an experienced Head of Risk Control to own our risk management function end-to-end, ensuring our platform remains secure, compliant, and operationally sound as we grow.

This is a senior execution and oversight role for someone who thrives on complexity, moves with precision, and understands the nuances of operating in a regulated virtual asset environment.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and report on the company's operational, financial, and regulatory risks, providing clear and actionable insights to senior leadership
• Monitor cryptocurrency trading processes to ensure security and full compliance with applicable regulations
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Turkish regulatory requirements, including MASAK and SPK frameworks
• Develop and implement innovative methods to continuously enhance risk management processes and controls
• Conduct data-driven analyses to support risk evaluation and inform key decision-making processes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management and control processes
• Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Solid familiarity with the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors, including an understanding of crypto-specific risk characteristics

Bonus points if you have:

• Direct experience at a crypto exchange or virtual asset service provider (VASP)
• Familiarity with MASAK AML/KYC requirements and SPK licensing frameworks
• Experience operating in a fast-scaling or high-growth environment
