Lead Game Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end game system design, including core gameplay loops, progression systems, and feature architecture
• Drive gameplay innovation & prototyping, ensuring strong player engagement and retention
• Manage and mentor a game design team, ensuring delivery quality and development timelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, art, and product to execute high-quality game features
• Leverage AI tools to enhance design workflows, including prototyping, balancing, and content generation

Requirements

• Proven experience as Lead / Senior Game Designer with at least one shipped title
• Strong expertise in game systems design (economy, progression, gameplay loops)
• Experience managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration
• Deep understanding of player psychology, retention, and monetization mechanics
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in game design or content creation
• Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
