KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

•Build and evolve event-driven architectures using modern messaging and streaming technologies

•Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and performance

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable solutions

•Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of engineering practices

•Implement observability best practices (logging, monitoring, metrics)

How do we imagine our future Senior Backend developer?

•Proficiency in Java or Scala with strong JVM ecosystem knowledge

•Experience in functional programming (immutability, pure functions, effect management)

•Solid experience building REST APIs (Spring Boot, Play, Akka/Pekko or similar)

•Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and Kafka (or similar)

•Good knowledge of SQL databases and MongoDB (NoSQL)

•Experience with testing (unit & integration), CI/CD, and observability (logs, metrics)

•French: Mandatory
