Network Operations Center Engineer

IT Network Operations Engineer (NOC)

We are looking for an IT NOC Agent to join a dynamic operations team supporting large-scale enterprise network infrastructures across multiple European locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing systems and monitoring tools
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network and infrastructure issues
• Analyse alerts related to performance, capacity, and security events
• Escalate and liaise with 2nd/3rd line support teams
• Communicate incident updates and service changes clearly to stakeholders
• Handle service requests not yet fully automated
• Support on-site interventions and technical room operations when required

Required Skills & Technologies

• Strong understanding of networking: DNS, HTTP, SSL, IPSEC, TCP/UDP, IP
• Experience with routing and switching principles
• Knowledge of security technologies: firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper), proxies (Blue Coat), DNS (BIND), F5 load balancing
• Familiarity with SD-WAN (Juniper preferred)
• Scripting skills: Bash and/or Perl
• Experience in incident management / IT operations environment
