Manufacturing Project Manager

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Manager to strengthen our Manufacturing organization.

Scope of Role

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will lead the industrialization of product projects across Manufacturing Cab and Vehicle Assembly plants globally. You will have end‑to‑end responsibility for manufacturing-related project execution throughout the complete product lifecycle. In this role, you will lead cross‑functional manufacturing project teams and play a central role in defining manufacturing targets and requirements, in line with the agreed scope, budget, and timeline. You will be responsible for preparing the complete industrial system to enable successful implementation of product changes, working in close collaboration with plants and key functions such as technical preparation, logistics, and quality.

The position requires strong coordination across multiple manufacturing sites and stakeholders, as well as the ability to drive alignment and execution in a complex, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing project teams, including representatives from Technical Preparation Engineering, Logistics Engineering, and manufacturing plants
• Represent Manufacturing in investigations, pre‑studies, and project milestone reviews (PMRs) throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive and secure Manufacturing requirements and strategies within product projects
• Ensure that manufacturing quality, delivery, and cost targets are clearly defined, considered, and achieved
• Develop and drive Manufacturing project time plans, covering all activities required to ensure production readiness across impacted plants
• Ensure quality‑assured project documentation, including project prerequisites, project descriptions, and risk analyses
• Manage Manufacturing project costs, including R&D and investment budgets
• Proactively challenge line organizations to meet agreed project milestones and commitments
• Secure the right information and provide recommendations to support decision‑making within Manufacturing forums and cross‑functional decision meetings
• Act as a key interface between Manufacturing and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and execution

Knowledge / Experience

• Experience working in manufacturing project management within industrial or automotive environments
• Strong understanding of industrialization, production preparation, and manufacturing processes
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional and multi‑site project teams
• Experience defining and driving manufacturing requirements in product development projects
• Strong competence in project planning, cost management, and risk management
• Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented working style
• Comfortable operating in complex, global, and fast‑changing environments
• Proficient in English, spoken and written
