Network Administrator

In this role you will join a team at the very core of Resurs, responsible for keeping all critical platforms running smoothly, from datacenter and networks to cloud and core banking systems, enabling the entire engineering organization to deliver seamlessly.

We are currently in an exciting journey of change with many projects and activities where you have the opportunity to influence and develop both ways of working and technical solutions. The role includes contact with key suppliers within networks to ensure that existing agreements and solutions are fulfilled. The role also includes contact with other suppliers in order to monitor the outside world and maintain competence within the domain.

In the role of Network Administrator, you will amongst other tasks:

• Take care of daily operation of troubleshooting and case management
• Plan, implement and document network changes
• Implement and improve new and existing solutions
• Be supportive of colleagues in networking issues
• Participate in the development and operation of our network
  
  
  

About You

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have at least 3 years of related work experience including experience with Palo Alto. You have good knowledge of various protocols, IP planning, and rule-based access. You also have experience with, or a strong interest in, network automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, as well as cloud environments such as AWS.

Experience of the following is an advantage for the position but not a requirement:

• Layer 3 routing protocols and technologies- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• MPLS and segment routing infrastructure
• Firewall technologies from Palo Alto
• Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR Routing & Switching
• Cisco ISE with 802.1x and MAB
• Cisco Catalyst Center
• IPAM, DNS, DHCP - AWS
