Our client is a fast-scaling SaaS company building a modern, cloud-native platform designed to deliver impactful digital experiences at scale.

They’re hiring their first DevOps Engineer to own and scale their cloud infrastructure, stepping into an environment with solid foundations, but real opportunity to optimize, modernize, and build for long-term growth. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role with direct influence on how the platform and DevOps function evolve.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and scale AWS-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and reliability as the platform grows
  • Evaluate and improve existing CI/CD pipelines, building efficient, low-friction deployment processes
  • Design and implement monitoring, observability, and incident response practices to improve system uptime and team workflows
  • Establish sustainable on-call processes and contribute to a strong reliability culture
  • Support and enhance security and compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR), translating requirements into infrastructure best practices
  • Define DevOps standards, tooling, and processes, shaping how engineering teams interact with infrastructure
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to influence architecture and long-term technical strategy

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering within cloud-native environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., ECS, Fargate, IAM, networking)
  • Proven experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines in production environments
  • Experience owning infrastructure reliability, security, and operational performance
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty)
  • Understanding of system resilience, including disaster recovery, RPO/RTO concepts
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth environments is a strong asset
  • Comfortable operating with ownership and autonomy, ideally as a primary or sole DevOps resource

Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000.
