In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the technical development and ongoing enhancement of our existing hygi.de webshop platform. Your primary focus will be on advancing modern architecture approaches, including API-first, headless models, edge computing, and cloud-native frontend architectures. You will leverage your expertise to develop reusable components, improve user experience, and ensure optimal performance across all devices and browsers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your contributions will help shape the long-term strategic direction of our digital storefront. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment, where innovative ideas and continuous learning are valued. You will be instrumental in implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and business.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent proficiency in HTML, CSS (including CSS3 and SCSS), and Vue.js or React frameworks. A solid understanding of component-based architecture with a focus on reusability and clear separation of responsibilities is essential. You should have a strong grasp of performance optimization techniques, including Core Web Vitals, and experience working with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with modern frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Encore, as well as dependency management via npm, yarn, or pnpm, is required. Knowledge of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility is crucial, along with basic understanding of technical SEO and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2). Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and a strategic mindset for continuous improvement are highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, think strategically, and proactively contribute innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining modern, reusable frontend components that enhance the user interface and overall user experience. You will implement responsive, performant, and accessible web interfaces, ensuring seamless functionality across various devices and browsers. Integration of frontend components with backend services via APIs will be a core aspect of your role, requiring close collaboration with backend teams. Maintaining high code quality through thorough reviews, documentation, and adherence to architectural best practices is essential. Additionally, you will analyze performance metrics, usability, and technical SEO factors to optimize the webshop continuously. Monitoring and improving system responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO compliance will be part of your ongoing efforts. Your proactive approach will involve identifying opportunities for enhancement, experimenting with new technologies, and contributing to the evolution of the platform’s architecture.
