Back End Developer (Node.js)

This position is based in Sweden. Applicants must be currently residing in Sweden, either as Swedish citizens or with a valid work permit. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high‑performing backend services. The role focuses on building robust server‑side systems that power critical frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services using Node.js

Build secure, scalable, and high‑performance APIs

Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration

Write clean, testable, and maintainable backend code

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance and reliability issues

Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Node.js

Solid understanding of backend architecture and API development

Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript

Experience using Git or other version control systems

Good communication and collaboration skills in English

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud‑native backend development

Exposure to security best practices and performance optimization

Experience working in agile development teams
